Your support
helps us to remain independent of government funding and to work in
the community on behalf of families with a relative with
disabilities. Our work is based on these interwoven concepts:
- No disability precludes relationship.
- Isolation is the only disability.
- Relationships are the key to a safe, secure and quality life.
The personal support networks that LifeSPAN facilitates mean that
people with disabilities have friends not only to enjoy life with
today, but also look out for them tomorrow. These networks bring
tremendous peace of mind to families. Your donations help subsidize
these networks and LifeSPAN's work in the community. If you are wondering,
How can I support LifeSPAN?,
here's how:
(1) Donate funds to LifeSPAN
Here are three easy ways to make a donation:
- Mail a check marked "donation" to the LifeSPAN office:

Please include your contact information so we can acknowledge
you.
- Make a donation online via the secure website:
Network for Good.
- Call the LifeSPAN office. Our administrative assistant can
accept
a donation by credit card over the phone 425.883.9867.
Many companies sponsor matching gift programs and will match
charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies
even match gifts made by retirees or spouses. Check with your
company to see if they will match your gift to LifeSPAN.

(2) Use GoodSearch and
GoodShop.
The Yahoo-powered search engine
www.goodsearch.com donates half
its advertising revenue to registered charities. Use it just as you
would any search engine. To designate LifeSPAN, go to
www.goodsearch.com, and in the box that says "enter your charity
here," type in "LifeSPAN." From the list displayed, select:
"LifeSPAN – Lifetime Personal Assistance Network (Bellevue, WA)." The
more you use GoodSearch, the more our donations add up!
Once you've designated LifeSPAN on GoodSearch, you can also go
shopping at
www.goodsearch.com/goodshop.aspx, an online shopping mall which donates up to
30% of each purchase to LifeSPAN. Hundreds of stores, including Amazon,
Target, Gap, Best Buy, eBay, Macy's, and Barnes & Noble, have teamed
up with GoodShop.
And, of course, please tell your friends about these great ways to
donate to LifeSPAN!

(3) Participate in a Community Partners
program.
If you are buying or selling a home, please ask
your realtor if he or she participates in a Community Partners program.
If so, request that LifeSPAN receive the percentage of the
commission per agreement.
